9am-5pm Monday & Friday, 9am-3pm Tuesday to Thursday.

The BHRC Office will also be closed on Bank Holidays (Monday 27th May).

Reminder that if you wish to run in the 3yo Little Welsh Dragon/ Dragoness or 2yo Junior Welsh Dragon/Dragoness at Tregaron 2013, payments are due on or before 1st July (3yo payment £100 and 2yo payment £50).

Horses not already nominated may be supplemented. Supplement fee for 3YO is £1000 due on or before 13th August 2013, supplement fee for 2YO is £500 due on or before 13th August 2013. Please note that 3YOs must be race qualified by 1st August 2013 and 2YOs must be race qualified by 13th August 2013. List of eligible horses can be found on Ceredrotian website . . . . link

It is hoped that the fixture will be rescheduled later in the season.

12-Jun-2013  EUROPEAN PACING CLASSIC 2013 @ YORK HARNESS RACEWAY Saturday 22nd June

Horses entered: Brywinsmagicpotion (AHaythornthwaite), Fool Around (REvans), Meadowbranch DJ (JRichardson), Rebus (RHaythornthwaite), Rhyds Destiny (ACairns), Rhyds Five Star (MLord) and Stoneriggs Mystery (WLaidler)

Purse £1201 (600/300/145/96/60)

This years European Pacing Classic has seven runners after the final entry stage and all roads lead to York. All horses in their own right are top class with Meadowbranch DJ travelling from Ireland, he has a big reputation, winner of the York 3YO Championship he has a good chance. Teresa Haythornthwaite has two runnes, with son Richard partnering Rebus, currently a Grade 7 he might find the company a bit too hot but loves the distance and will look for a good draw. With Alan getting the drive on the James Gammie owned Brywinsmagicpotion, the horse that looks stronger than ever and will be in the shake up as he has stamina in abundance. Fool Around comes the long drive from Tregaron in Wales for the Evans stable and is a real horse many enthusiasts say is a Free For Aller with a really good handicap mark and has speed to burn. Rhyds Destiny has also been a credit to Peter and Karen Addiss, this horse runs his heart out every time he's put on the track and if he sparkles the rest will need to be at their best to beat him. Rhyds Five Star has also been a wonder horse and throughout his career he has given the Howard's and the Lord's some great times and it was only last year a furlong out at Musselburgh where he made Stoneriggs Mystery dig out all the reserves to just beat him. But for many Stoneriggs Mystery is a super star and is the reigning International FFA winner at Musselburgh over 1m3f and the Crock of Gold winner over 1m at Tir Prince, so it doesn't matter the distance as this machine adapts well and it's clear to see why the Morton family dug deep to buy him. It's the job of last years BHRC Top Trainer Alexis Laidler to have this horse ready to win one of the BHRC features for aged pacers. A good race in prospect with the draw making the advantage here and deciding who will be crowned BHRC European Pacing Classic Champion for 2013.
