BHRC AGM – Sunday 4th December 2016

The BHRC AGM will be held at Days Inn, Wetherby on Sunday 4th December 2016.

Officials due for re-election at the 2016 AGM:
Chairman - Roy Sheedy
Vice Chairman – Jim McInally
BHRC Stewards – Barry Delaney, Bret Strickland
BHRC Regional Steward – Roland Pugh
Please note that applications are open for Regional Stewards positions in Scotland and England

New candidates should be nominated in writing by a BHRC Council member and seconded in writing by a BHRC Council/Committee member by 12noon Friday 11th November 2016
Candidates must also confirm in writing their willingness to stand

Please note that following the last Committee meeting current criteria for Owners Associations and Clubs is:
Minimum 37 members
At least 18 members must hold BHRC licences
At least three members meetings to be held per annum (one to be an AGM)

Please could all Owners Associations/Clubs forward membership lists and minutes of meetings in 2016 as soon as possible so that voting eligibility and rights can be confirmed. The information must be submitted prior to 12noon Friday 11th November. Failure to supply information by this date may result in association or club being ineligible to vote.

Committee Meeting
The first Committee Meeting will be held on Saturday 22nd October.

Rule Changes
Suggestions for rule changes, amendments or additions should be submitted in writing to the BHRC Office by 12noon Friday 14th October please

Annual Awards
Nominations are open for the Annual Awards in the following categories:
Pacer of the Year, Mare of the Year, Trotter of the Year, 3YO Colt of the Year, 3YO Filly of the Year, 2YO Colt of the Year, 2YO Filly of the Year and Overseas Horse of the Year
Nominations should be submitted in writing to the BHRC please no later than 12noon Friday 11th November 2016

BHRC & STAGBI Annual Awards & Presentation Evening
Following on from the successful event staged in February 2016, BHRC and STAGBI will be staging an Annual Awards & Presentation Evening in February 2017. Further details will follow.
