TRIBUTE TO EMMA FRIEZE

17Nov

Emma Frieze passed away on the 4th November after a short illness, Emma was 41 years old.

Emma started her career in Harness racing with Brywins where she had prolific amount of winners training and driving, Brywins Tomi to win Aberystwyth, Maple Hanover to win a crock of Gold, her own mare Brywins 67 and many more.  She then went to Canada to work for Doyle Transport briefly before she started training.  She had winners at Mohawk and sire stakes winners Hidden Message and Holy Moly Maggie.  Emma loved harness racing especially the trotters due to the fact they were more challenging.  Emma was a kind intelligent talented horsewoman a lady of few words but when she did say something you hung onto every word, she loved to see her daughter Alexis and her niece Menna excel on their ponies in the show jumping ring just like she did.  Where it all began …….. She will be sorely missed
