Nominations are open for the Annual Awards in the following categories:
Pacer of the Year, Mare of the Year, Trotter of the Year, 3YO Colt of the Year, 3YO Filly of the Year, 2YO Colt of the Year, 2YO Filly of the Year and Overseas Horse of the Year

Nominations should be submitted in writing to the BHRC please no later than 12noon Friday 11th November 2016

Horse of the Year – the winner of this award will be voted by the BHRC Committee from the winners of the above categories
Overseas Horse of the Year – Any horse that has connections to an IHRA registered owner or trainer in the relevant season can be nominated under this category
Special Contribution to Harness Racing – there will be one nominated person receive this award which will be determined by the Awards Event Organisation Committee. All nominations will be considered

The 2YO conquering filly – Rhyds Mystique?
The undisputed 3YO champions – Jessies Conquest & Miraculous?
The ‘Big’ Race Winners at Appleby, Musselburgh, Aberystwyth, Tregaron, Boughrood, Bells Field, Murdoch Weekend?
The royal showcase horses at Musselburgh on 8th July?
The Le Trot Champs – Show Business, Sacha Of Carless, Tenor Meslois?
The four time PRAKAS winner – Wildcats Supreme?
