With full agreement between BHRC and TrotBritain, TrotBritain are to be the organisers and promoters for the Prakas Trot Series in 2017.

With the kind permission of Mick Welling, the Prakas Trot Series will be staged at York Raceway on Saturday 7th October 2017.

The new administration has introduced some changes and revamped the series for the 2017 season:
PRAKAS 3YO DERBY

• Entry Fee – £150 (no nominations or sustaining dates – just one straight forward payment)
• Race will be open to British Registered 3YO Standardbred or Trotter Francais Trotters unraced at 30th April 2017
• Entries close five weeks prior to race date
• Horses must have completed two betting races at least five days prior to race date
• If there are no Standardbred entries the race will become a LE TROT supported event

PRAKAS CHAMPIONSHIP

• Entry Fee – £150 (no nominations or sustaining dates – just one straight forward payment)
• Race will be open to 4YO and over British Bred Standardbred Trotters
• Entries close five weeks prior to race date
• Minimum three entries required for race to be staged
• Horses must have completed two trot betting races at least five days prior to race date
