In September 2016 the British Harness Racing Club commenced disciplinary proceedings against Mr David Taff, the result of those disciplinary proceedings was, amongst other things, the suspension of Mr Taff’s public trainer’s licence. Mr Taff challenged this decision. This matter has been settled on a confidential basis save that the BHRC alone is entitled under the terms of settlement to publish this message. As part of the confidential settlement agreement Mr Taff’s licence suspension has been commuted to time already served of 2.5 years. Neither party will be making further public comment on this matter.
