The BHRC were saddened to hear of the passing of Geoff Cheetham on the 29th January.
Geoff Cheetham may be remembered as George Dodd’s grandson, driving back in the 1950′s and early 60′s. Based at Moorside Farm, Droylsden.
Years later he returned to the sport as a spectator at Carriages, Droylsden and then at all the tracks up and down the country.
His final role was in a white coat as a steward at Wolverhampton, Tregaron and wherever needed.
