HRBGB Statement

12Apr

Over the last summer we made all members aware that Trot Britain wished to have full governance of trotting in Britain. There was a vote by committees on August 8th 2021 which agreed this transfer from the 1st of January 2022. Since then we have been working with Trot Britain under the HRBGB umbrella.

In the transition year, 2022, Trot Britain has agreed that the BHRC will receive all license revenue. It has been agreed that 15% represents the amount to which Trot Britain is entitled. The BHRC has offered to continue various services this year to Trot Britain and these will be charged back to them at the same 15%. Services already agreed upon include: but are not limited to office administration and the clearance of horses for racing. Further services are still under discussion at this time.

This particular financial agreement is for the transition year only.
