It is with deep regret that I have report the death of Brian Bousfield, husband to Dot and father to Peter. Brian died on Monday 13 June after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, his funeral will be held at Brough Church, Brough, Cumbria on Wednesday 22 June at 11.00 am.

Brian had been involved in harness racing virtually all his life (over 60 years) Dot and Peter are still involved with racing today (their current horses being One Way and Sugar Rush). Brian will be sadly missed by his family and friends. On behalf of myself, Eden Valley and everyone who knows the family, I would like to offer Dot and Peter our deepest sympathy, our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. RIP
