S4C will webcast the races of two top Welsh harness racing meetings this summer live on its website.

All the races from the Ceredigion Trotting Club Races Festival at Rhydyfelin, Aberystwyth on Sunday 2nd July and the Tregaron Festival of Harness Racing on Saturday 26th August will be webcast live on s4c.cymru and S4C Facebook Live.

S4C will also broadcast a special one-hour edition of Rasus on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August, providing highlights of both race meetings and a look back at the whole harness racing season in Wales.

Sue Butler, S4C Sport Content Commissioner said, “This is an exciting new service for harness racing followers and I am sure it will prove popular with trotting enthusiasts throughout the UK. Webcasting life sport is a service we are providing more and more and we are delighted to offer it for two of the UK’s top harness racing meetings.”

The coverage will be produced by Slam Media. The commentary, which will be on the races only, will be available in Welsh and English at s4c.cymru and in Welsh only at S4C Facebook Live.
