TWO charities will benefit from the entrance funds from York Harness Raceway this weekend.

The Blossom Kelly legacy charity will receive all gate funds from the racing on Saturday. Entry is £15 per person. With 11 races on offer which includes a £6000 handicap, there’s sure to be some fantastic performances, with the Blossom Kelly Legacy the main winner of the day.

The PACT charity will receive all gate funds and stable fees from the racing on Sunday. Entry is £10 per person. The racing on offer covers 10 starts with pacers and trotters, two finals with substantial purses and an epic race where Evenwood Sonofagun and Stoneriggs Mystery will go head to head.

Entertainment is also planned for the Saturday evening in the on-course bar.
